- Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance; US Citizenship is required
- Graduation from a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time the program was completed; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN); licensure in any US state or territory will be considered, however Ohio licensure must be obtained prior to start date
- Minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) years; VA experience is preferred
- Experience in one or more of the following specialty areas is preferred: Primary Care, Intensive Care/Critical Care, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry/Cardiac Monitoring, Emergency Room
- Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved vendor
- Current ACLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved vendor
- Current CPR certification from an American Heart Association-approved vendor
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems; training on VA-specific systems including VistA and CPRS will be provided upon onboarding
- Familiarity with medical terminology, hospital policies and procedures, and clinical documentation standards
- Ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently

- Dayton VA Medical Center, 4100 W Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428 (On-Site).
Shift
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
