CVP is seeking an experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our growing team. As a Microsoft Power Platform Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain comprehensive digital solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in low-code development with strong project management skills to deliver scalable solutions that address complex organizational challenges. This role is central to advancing key initiatives including digital transformation, workflow automation, data visualization, and enabling efficient information management for federal operations.

 

The Microsoft Power Platform Developer designs and implements enterprise-wide digital solutions that align with agency strategic objectives. You will collaborate with stakeholders to establish workflow frameworks, develop custom applications, and ensure secure, compliant digital solutions. You will provide technical leadership in developing data models, implementing automated processes, and establishing integration patterns that enable actionable insights and streamlined operations across diverse organizational units.

 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting federal missions through innovative Power Platform solutions, coupled with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and help Design and implement comprehensive solutions using Microsoft Power Platform components including MS Dataverse, MS Forms, Power Apps, PowerBI, and Power Automate/Flow
  • Develop and maintain custom applications, workflows, embedded web parts, and data reporting solutions in low-code environments
  • Utilize major coding languages (CSS, DAX, HTML, JavaScript, and M) to configure and optimize Power Platform solutions
  • Develop and maintain Microsoft SharePoint sites, site collections, hubs, and embedded content with appropriate workflows and role-based security schemes
  • Provide user account management including administering software licenses, security groups, and access permissions via self-managed and OI&T-managed portals
  • Execute comprehensive project management activities including task prioritization, scheduling, duration estimation, dependency management, and strategic lifecycle planning
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by engaging with clients to develop solution requirements, conduct implementation and deployment activities, and provide ongoing user and application support
  • Plan and execute solution transition and retirement activities as needed
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop technical solutions to meet organizational objectives
  • Assess technical feasibility of new technologies and Power Platform capabilities to enhance solution delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical discipline
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required
  • 8+ years of experience to include developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, PowerBI, Power Automate, MS Dataverse, MS Forms)
  • Proficient in major coding languages including CSS, DAX, HTML, JavaScript, and M for low-code environment configuration
  • Experience developing and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint sites, collections, and hubs with workflow and security implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in project management including task scheduling, dependency management, and strategic planning
  • Experience in user account management and software license administration
  • Strong customer service skills with ability to gather requirements, implement solutions, and provide ongoing support
  • Experience translating business requirements into functional technical solutions

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience with VA-related IT systems and federal healthcare environments
  • Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Power Apps, PowerBI, Power Automate)
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or Agile software development lifecycle
