Overview

CVP is looking for a detail oriented, highly organized Project Controls Analyst. Responsibilities include customer invoicing, working with project managers, reviewing project plans, and preparing weekly reports showing key performance indicators

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly invoices for 20+ government contracts in coordination with the project manager.
  • Review and maintain aging accounts receivable, including communicating with contracting officers from multiple government agencies.
  • Promptly enter purchase order documentation into Unanet accounting system, allowing for subcontracting vendors to be paid appropriately.
  • Prepare weekly reporting documentation to include key performance indicators such as delinquent accounts receivable, resource utilization, contracts at risk, and timesheet compliance.
  • Review financial results for assigned projects (revenue, GM and NM)
  • Review project plans with project manager and input into Unanet system
  • Assist with annual external audits
  • Attend monthly project management reporting meetings
  • Utilize financial analytical skills to solve issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related discipline
  • Organization and prioritization skills
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Initiative and tenacity; effective in a deadline-driven environment
  • Advanced Knowledge of MS Excel
  • Prior experience with Unanet ERP system
