Overview

CVP is seeking an HR Generalist to join our strong team and become a contributing member of an award-winning technology, business, and healthcare consultancy. Imagine the impact you will make leveraging your HR expertise to help employees thrive. You will serve a critical role in the success of CVP’s healthcare transformation and technology modernization projects.

Responsibilities

  • Onboard and welcome new employees into the organization, including preparation for their arrival.
  • Conduct and lead New Hire Orientation, enrolling them in the appropriate HR and benefits systems, and coordinating with the IT group. 
  • Review and assess personnel policies, programs, and procedures, and inform employee and management personnel on the interpretation of them, providing creative solutions.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and excellence while leading one or more HR functional areas, such as onboarding, benefits, training, HR database maintenance and personnel analytics.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience with onboarding activities and exit activities.
  • Experience with benefits administration (policies and processes).
  • Strong and clear communication skills. 
  • High levels of integrity and discretion.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong facilitator and presenter.
  • Strong attention to detail, documentation and accuracy.
  • Team player and self-starter, ability to see where help is needed and volunteers to assist.
  • Creative problem solver.

Desired Skills

  • Interest in or experience with health and wellness programs.
  • SHRM certification completed (or in progress).
  • Desire to learn and grow in various aspects of HR.

Location

  • Ideal candidate is local to the DC Metro Area and willing to visit our headquarters in Washington, DC as needed.

Pay

  • 70-75k (based on experience)
