Project Manager, Value-Based Care

CVP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support healthcare transformation initiatives within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA).  The Project Manager will serve as the single contractor point of contact with/for the VHA requests for SME support and any matter related to contractor performance on large-scale healthcare programs.

This role requires extensive experience successfully managing large-scale programs encompassing multiple projects, with total lifecycle budget and complexity comparable to major federal healthcare initiatives.

• Support pilot development to transform how VA delivers and pays for healthcare
• Manage pilot operations, onboarding participants, analyziing performance data and deliver monthly reports to track process and outcomes
• Support change management, stakeholder coordination, and communication across multiple VA medical centers
• Manage all matters related to contractor performance and VHA interface
• Provide strategic guidance on Value-Based Care initiatives
• Lead large-scale programs encompassing multiple healthcare transformation projects
• Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out complex healthcare programs
• Support VHA mission objectives through disciplined program management
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholder communications
• Monitor program performance, budgets, and deliverables across multiple projects
• Manage program risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Facilitate program governance and reporting to VHA leadership

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited college or university
• 4+ years of experience successfully managing large-scale programs with multiple projects
• Experience leading Value-Based Care programs in the federal or private sector
• Experience with programs having total lifecycle budgets and complexity comparable to large federal healthcare initiatives
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar quality certification
• Demonstrated experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs
• Strong program management methodology knowledge
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to obtain a US Security Public Trust Clearance
• Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely

Salary Band:

• $140k-150k (depending on experience)
