Overview

CVP seeks an experienced Director of Pricing to lead and transform our pricing strategy and price-to-win capabilities across our Healthcare, National Security, and Public Sector portfolios. This role will be instrumental in developing winning pricing strategies that align with CVP's mission of achieving lasting transformation while maintaining competitiveness in the federal marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable and responsible for cost volume development for federal services proposals, ensuring compliance with federal acquisition regulations  
  • Lead the development and execution of sophisticated pricing strategies for complex federal proposals, ensuring alignment with CVP's business objectives and market positioning  
  • Expertly structure pricing strategies across all contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, across GWACS, IDIQs, BPAs, and task orders, optimizing financial levers to drive competitiveness and profitability. 
  • Develop dynamic, advanced Excel-based pricing models and cost estimation tools to drive decision-making and enhance pricing strategies. 
  • Partner with capture managers, solution architects, and business development teams to create compelling, competitive pricing solutions and business volumes 
  • Advise and/or mentor capture managers, growth leaders, and other stakeholders in pricing methodologies, cost structure development, and competitive positioning. 
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing patterns, and government procurement data to inform strategic pricing decisions  
  • Develop Basis of Estimate (BOE) and Level of Effort (LOE) models based on Performance Work Statements (PWS) and Statements of Work (SOW). 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field  
  • 10+ years of experience in federal pricing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role 
  • Deep understanding of federal procurement processes, FAR/DFAR regulations, and contract types  
  • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in cost models, pricing narratives, and compliance documentation. 
  • Proven track record of successful price-to-win strategies in competitive federal procurements  
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in cost modeling and pricing analytics 
  • Experience with pricing methodologies and advanced Excel proficiency, including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and cost modeling. 
  • Excellence in executive communication and presentation skills 
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments, with flexibility to support night and weekend proposal efforts as needed.
