Overview

CVP subsidiary Titan-Auxo, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager with expertise in Facility Planning, Management, and Environment of Care Safety to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) operations. This role will provide expertise in infrastructure and capital management relevant to maintaining and modernizing existing infrastructure.

 

Location: 4136 Carolina Commerce Parkway, Ladson, SC 29456.

Responsibilities

  • Determines objectives, sets priorities, and delegates work. Accepts responsibility for mistakes. Complies with established control systems and rules.
  • Provide expertise in infrastructure and capital management for CMOP facilities.
  • Conduct market-based facility planning and build vs. buy analyses.
  • Assess VA facility engineering and safety programs.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on a myriad of topics related to facility safety and management.
  • Provide expert consultation on capital asset, Environment of Care (EOC), and Safety related policy and issues.
  • Develop hazard abatement and surveillance procedures.
  • Prepare policies, reports, and correspondence related to safety, occupational health, and fire prevention.
  • Conduct workplace safety inspections throughout CMOP facilities and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, occupational health, and fire prevention requirements.
  • Design and conduct educational programs to enhance employee awareness of safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of and ability to manage hazardous materials and waste, including their uses, interactions, dangers, production, handling, storage, and disposal.
  • Knowledge of and ability to implement emergency management methods, including first aid, rescue techniques, and threat assessments.
  • Knowledge of the physical, engineering, and experimental equipment and operational characteristics of facilities, and safety and equipment development designed to support aerospace activities.
  • Hold self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree, preferred degree in Facility Management, Occupational Safety, or related field.
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in facility management, safety programs, and capital asset management.
  • Proven experience in VA, large government, or large integrated healthcare system leading safety and capital asset programs.
  • Deep understanding of capital asset infrastructure, facility condition assessments, and safety risk evaluation.
  • Knowledge of guidelines, regulations, and procedures associated with an accident investigation including preservation of accident scene, root cause analysis, and evidence detection and handling.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Key soft skills: ability to show understanding, friendliness, courtesy, tact, empathy, cooperation, concern, and politeness to others, and ability to relate well to different people from varied backgrounds and different situations.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive safety and facility management programs.
  • Experience with conducting training and educational programs.

Additional Requirements:

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
