Overview

CVP is seeking a Junior Program Analyst to join a growing team supporting one of our federal customers. This is an exciting career opportunity for a professional with an interest in consulting. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, innovative, analytical, and has a strong interest in how technology solves matters of great national importance, especially in healthcare, national security, and digital government. Services to be performed include but are not limited to administrative programmatic support, end user support, training development and delivery, communications, dashboard development and maintenance, and data curation.

Responsibilities

  • Gain an understanding of the client’s goals and daily objectives, help to measure and define success, and ensure a consistent approach to solving problems
  • Collaborate with the project team to analyze business needs
  • Provide administrative (end user) support to multiple VA programs and sites
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with VA program sites to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Identify and report risks within sites and identify opportunities for process improvement.
  • Assimilate quickly into CVP’s consultative approach
  • Utilize analytical skills to solve interesting and complex problems
  • Elicit information using a variety of customer management techniques

Qualifications

  • Eligibility to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Effective team and client collaboration
  • Ability to observe/listen, capture, and analyze information in fast-paced environments, ensuring that critical points are noted
  • Ability to research and confidently assemble an argument and back it up with evidence
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to pick up new information and skills quickly
  • Validate data obtained via critical thinking techniques to expose new areas for exploration
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and be capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of experience in a relevant field

Desired Skills

  • Experience facilitating meetings with health care topics.
  • Background in healthcare, public health, clinical expertise or federal health.
  • Experience with data analysis, management of data sets, and/or data dashboard training. 
  • Strong analytical skills; willingness to ask questions and think creatively.
  • Federal consulting experience, particularly with the Veteran population.
