Overview

CVP seeks a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manager/Lead to oversee our quality assurance processes and lead our QA team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing QA strategies, managing testing activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support in test planning, execution, and reporting. 
  • Develop and maintain QA processes, methodologies, and best practices across the organization. 
  • Create and manage comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various projects. 
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate QA processes into the software development lifecycle. 
  • Implement and manage automated testing frameworks and tools to improve efficiency and coverage. 
  • Conduct regular code reviews and performance analyses to identify areas for improvement. 
  • Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely closure of issues. 
  • Provide regular status reports and quality metrics to stakeholders and management. 
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in QA and software testing. 
  • Participate in project planning and estimation activities. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role 
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, best practices, and software development lifecycles 
  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, NUnit) 
  • Proficiency in C#, asp.net, JavaScript 
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies 
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance 

 

Desired Skills: 

  • Experience with performance testing and security testing 
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
