Overview

CVP is seeking a Healthcare Data Analyst to work with government organizations to execute large-scale organization transformation, performance and program management, and continuous process improvement for our clients in government. Candidates should be able to evaluate various business models, identify and implement improved work alternatives and business processes, and gather and document comprehensive business requirements to enhance organizational efficiency. Identify opportunities for organization strategy services within a client organization or business area. Build competencies in the areas of basic consulting, assignment performance, and organization strategy. They should provide actionable insights through analytics, driving data-driven decision-making and supporting data management, clinical informatics, and population health informatics initiatives.


The Consultant works closely with and supports Federal agency clients in the planning and implementation major organizational transformation initiatives. The Consultant collaborates with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery. The Consultant will play a lead role in the development of deliverables to include but not limited to Risk Management, Performance Reporting Dashboards, Operating Models, Business Cases, and Cost Savings Recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on status of program performance; assess initiative issues and risks and recommend mitigation strategies for resolution
  • Apply proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel, SQL, R, or Python), statistical concepts, and data visualization software (like Tableau or Power BI) to analyze data and provide insights. Use these findings to recommend improvements to organizational structures, processes, and systems that align with company strategies and objectives.
  • Analyze and improve business processes, suggest better ways of working, and document key business needs to boost overall efficiency.
  • Utilize understanding of data collection and cleaning processes and familiarity with database structures to recommend domain-specific solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Business).
  • 3+ years of experience working on complex team-based engagements in a consulting organization, government staff or support contractor.
  • Proficiency in at least one data analysis tool (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, or Python) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Ability to gather, analyze, and clean data effectively.
  • Ability to interpret data and identify patterns using problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to deliver in project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter.
  • Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas for non-experts to comprehend.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

Desired Skills

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three to five years of professional work experience in Management Consulting or Data Analysis.
