Overview

CVP is seeking a Healthcare Innovation Manager to work with government organizations to execute large-scale organization transformation, performance and program management, and continuous process improvement for our clients in government. Candidates should be able to write reports, assist with client presentations, and identify opportunities for organization strategy services within a client organization or business area. The professional in this role will build competencies in the areas of basic consulting, assignment performance, and organization strategy. They will prepare deliverables on time, on budget, and of high-quality for client review.


The Innovation Manager works closely with and supports agency clients in the planning and implementation of major organizational transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to collaborate with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery. Imagine the impact you will make as you lead the development of deliverables to include, but not limited to, Risk Management, Performance Reporting Dashboards, Operating Models, Business Cases, and Cost Savings Recommendations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform independent analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on status of program performance; assess initiative issues and risks and recommend mitigation strategies for resolution.
  • Leverage expertise in systems thinking to inform its recommendations on changes to structures, processes and systems required to achieve organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Support senior leadership decision boards that govern the progress of efforts and address risks or issues affecting success.
  • Collaborate with clients to conduct stakeholder analysis and define project management approaches.
  • Collaborate with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption and implementation of new processes.
  • Develop Program Management artifacts as needed (Charters, SLAs, project plans, initiative briefings).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University.
  • 5+ years of experience working on complex team-based engagements in a consulting organization, government staff or support contractor.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of consulting methodologies such as change management, project management, process improvement, analysis and lean six sigma.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data effectively.
  • Ability to deliver in project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter.
  • Ability to be a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas for non-experts to comprehend.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

Desired Skills

  • Master’s Degree (MBA, MHA or MPH preferred degrees).
  • Five to seven years of professional work experience in Management Consulting.
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Experience participating in the development of at least one complex organizational design or new office stand-up effort.
