Senior Manager - Health Informatics

As the designated Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of health informatics projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations and standards. You will be responsible for tracking project costs, schedules, and performance progress, and identifying and mitigating risks. Additionally, you will leverage SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices to drive value and sustain organizational change and operational excellence through empowering high-performing Agile teams. Your expertise in health informatics or electronic health records projects, preferably within the Veterans Health Administration, will be essential in driving successful initiatives and enhancing healthcare services for veterans. • Manage IT projects focused on health informatics and electronic health records.
• Oversee full project life cycle from planning to implementation and maintenance.

• Empower and lead high-performing Agile teams to achieve operational excellence.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within IT, focusing on health informatics or electronic health records projects.
• Proven expertise in managing IT projects using life cycle and project management methodologies.
• Extensive experience in tracking project costs, schedules, and performance progress.
• Strong ability to identify and mitigate project risks.
• Demonstrated capability in applying SAFe’s Lean Agile principles and practices.
• Preferably experience within the Veterans Health Administration or a similar environment.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
