Overview

Join a dynamic and successful prime contractor as a Project Manager on a leading federal healthcare consulting contract, dedicated to transforming healthcare for veterans. This career growth opportunity involves managing the delivery of high-impact projects within an integrated Health Care System. The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) regarding Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and any matters related to contractor performance. The ideal candidate will possess a BA/BS degree, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, and relevant experience in managing projects with complex lifecycles.

 

As the designated Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex healthcare projects, ensuring alignment with the VHA's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards. With at least four years of experience supporting large healthcare corporations or government agencies, you will bring valuable expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations. Your leadership will drive the success of critical initiatives, ultimately improving healthcare services for veterans. Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contractor point of contact for client requests for SME support and contractor performance-related matters.
  • Lead the planning, initiation, management, execution, and closing of projects to support the agency’s mission.
  • Oversee projects with significant budgets and complexity.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with VHA, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations and standards.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Leverage expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Ensure projects integrate seamlessly within the Health Care System and support the mission of the agency.
  • Provide leadership for complex healthcare initiatives.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and project teams.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of experience supporting a large healthcare corporation or government agency.
  • Proven experience in managing projects with complex lifecycles.
  • Expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations.
  • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out programs to support an agency’s mission.
  • Familiarity with the veterans healthcare community care program (desired).
