Overview

Join a dynamic and successful prime contractor as the Executive Director on a leading federal healthcare consulting contract, dedicated to transforming healthcare for veterans. This career growth opportunity involves leading the delivery of high-impact programs and projects within an integrated health care system. This Executive Director will play a pivotal role in assisting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in executing targeted program goals. The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree, a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, and a minimum of ten years of experience in healthcare areas relevant to revenue cycle operations, network management, and provider relations for this large integrated health care system. Prior Big-6 or equivalent consulting experience is a plus.

 

As the Executive Director, you will oversee the delivery of complex healthcare projects in revenue cycle operations, network management, and provider relations, ensuring alignment with the VA's strategic objectives. Your responsibilities will include coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations and standards. With at least six years of experience supporting large healthcare corporations or government agencies, you will bring a wealth of knowledge in healthcare management and project execution. Your leadership and strategic vision will drive the success of critical initiatives, ultimately improving healthcare services for veterans. Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of high-impact healthcare programs and projects for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
  • Assist VA in executing targeted program goals and strategic objectives.
  • Plan, initiate, manage, execute, and close out healthcare programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards.
  • Provide leadership and strategic vision for complex healthcare projects.
  • Oversee the integration and alignment of projects within the Health Care System.
  • Leverage expertise in healthcare management and project execution to drive successful outcomes.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications

  • Executive with a proven background in leading the delivery of high-impact healthcare programs. 
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in healthcare.
  • At least six years of experience supporting large healthcare corporations or government agencies.
  • Expertise in healthcare revenue cycle operations, provider network management, or provider relations.
  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience in planning, initiating, managing, executing, and closing out healthcare programs.
  • Experience with the veterans healthcare community care program (desired).
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
