We are seeking a Cybersecurity Growth/SME to join our team of experts tasked with growing our cyber division and providing cybersecurity subject matter expertise on contracts. 

Responsibilities

  • Define targets within the Federal cybersecurity markets, identify and qualify new business opportunities. 
  • Lead business development activity through the capture process to include: customer contact, competitive intelligence, gap analysis and bid team structuring. 
  • Classify the bid/performance risks and establish appropriate risk management strategies. 
  • Interface with industry peers and evaluate/recommend teaming arrangements. 
  • Lead price-to-win and design-to-cost strategies, solicitation responses, proposal product development, color reviews, submission and final proposal revisions. 
  • Author and/or review products underpinning company activities with sources sought RFIs, proposals, white papers, and customer engagement. 
  • Present status of opportunities at required gate reviews and obtain approvals as required to progress the opportunity through its lifecycle. 
  • Orchestrate the activities with business development and proposal staff members (growth analysts, pricers, contracts specialists, technical contributors and subcontractor teammates) to ensure proposal responses carry out winning capture strategies, win themes, and competitive discriminators, from receipt of draft RFP to submission of final proposal revision.  
  • Provide Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expertise for cybersecurity contracts to improve security posture by advising on cybersecurity best practices, building client relationships, providing consulting guidance, and creating/implementing technical recovery plans  

Qualifications

  • 4-year college degree in Computer Science or related field and 8 years’ experience or 15 years’ experience in lieu of a college degree. 
  • Federal expertise within HHS, NIH or DHS/CISA 
  • 1+ years capture management, business development and federal market experience focused on growth in Federal Healthcare and Civilian markets.  
  • Demonstrated experience and results in targeting select markets, identifying, qualifying and winning new business opportunities. 
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry participant networks. 
  • Thorough research and data gathering/validating techniques to gather and document information about the opportunity's timing, customer(s)/stakeholder(s), competition, pricing, and procurement. 
  • Possess versatile and persuasive written and presentation communication skills. 
  • Experience demonstrating strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for cybersecurity. 
  • Expertise of security standards and frameworks including: NIST CSF, FISMA, FedRAMP, ZTA 
  • Solid understanding of cloud-based technologies such as AWS and Azure. 

 

Desired Skills 

  • Cyber industry certifications. 
  • Experience with AWS and/or Azure. 
  • Experience with AI Cyber
