Overview

CVP is seeking a a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager in Healthcare Management Consulting with a nursing or similar healthcare delivery background and expertise in project management. This role requires a dynamic individual who can lead and manage complex healthcare projects with federal client agencies, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

 

The Senior Project Manager works closely with and supports Federal agency clients in the planning and implementation organizational and workforce transformation initiatives. The Senior Project Manager collaborates with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage healthcare consulting projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Utilize your nursing (or similar healthcare delivery) expertise to provide valuable insights and guidance on healthcare-related projects.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners.
  • Implement best practices in project management and healthcare management consulting.
  • Analyze and solve complex healthcare industry challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Continuously monitor and report on project progress to senior management.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.

 

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • At least 2 years of nursing (or similar) experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience, with a track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or University in a relevant field (e.g., Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

 

Desired Skills

  • Experience participating in the development of at least one complex health system organizational transformation, strategic planning, or workforce development effort.
