As a Full Stack Developer, you will be problem solving using complete end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced, agile environment. We are looking for developers that like to wear many hats and work with a dynamic suite of technologies to build software from vision to production.

 

Here at CVP our mission is to help our clients navigate change. We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our team in the modernization of several applications utilized by a Federal Government client. This team is using technologies such as React, Java Spring Boot, PostGres and AWS. 

Responsibilities

  • Work within development teams, building, fostering, and maintaining leading edge engineering practices.
  • Help create the design and implementation for the overall architecture of the solution.
  • Work with the development team to implement a robust set of services and APIs to power digital products.
  • Develop software solutions for databases, user interfaces, and web services.
  • Conceptualize software solutions to address customer needs.
  • Help evaluate and propose platforms and coding standards to be used in project development.
  • Help evaluate existing software solutions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help guide modifications/modernization of existing software to upgrade performance or re-platforming to an AWS environment.
  • Help provide project governance across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Must be eligible to obtain a Public Trust government security clearance. US Citizenship is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Full Stack Agile SDLC software development projects.
  • Candidate should have professionally developed applications with Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript and other related Java technologies.
  • Application development experience with common libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, JUnit and Apache Maven.
  • Knowledge of creating single page applications using a framework/libraries such as React or Angular.
  • Experience creating RESTful web services.
  • Experience designing and implementing cloud native applications on AWS.
  • Experienced in creating Microservices.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture.
  • Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX design.
  • Understanding of software quality assurance principles.
  • A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
  • Experience providing strategic technical consulting to senior Federal customers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) to a wide range of stakeholders.

Desired Skills

  • Experienced in DevOps using industry tools such as Jenkins, AWS DevOps etc.
  • Effective management of multiple simultaneous project.
  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience with Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Microservices architecture.
