Overview

CVP is seeking a Manager to support Federal Health clients with Strategy and Transformation initiatives. The Manager leads the planning and implementation of major organizational transformation initiatives in areas of healthcare innovation, artificial intelligence and enterprise systems deployment. The Manager will work with a team to establish frameworks and models for eliciting stakeholder feedback, and effectively facilitate stakeholder engagement sessions with leaders at VA Medical Centers, HHS Operating Divisions, and with inter-agency partners. The Manager collaborates with client leadership to set expectations for deliverables, shape work product development, and ensure quality delivery.

 

The Manager will facilitate client Integrated Product Teams and stakeholder engagement events to elicit feedback and gather inputs for work product development. The Manager will lead a cross-function team to develop impactful client deliverables to include Operating Models, Business Cases, and recommendations for new clinical and health systems solutions. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain primary client relationship in order to deliver products that exceed expectations and build trust in the relationship.
  • Interface with stakeholders internal and external to the federal agency to elicit feedback. 
  • Guide a team of Consultants and Analysts to ensure quality work product delivery. 
  • Leverage expertise in systems thinking to inform recommendations on changes to structures, processes and systems required to achieve organizational strategies and objectives.
  • Support senior leadership decision boards that govern the progress of efforts and address risks or issues affecting success.
  • Work with clients to conduct stakeholder analysis and define project management approaches.
  • Work with clients to review and develop guidance and policies that will facilitate understanding, adoption and implementation of new processes.

Qualifications

  • MBA or MHA degree from an accredited college or university.

  • 10+ years of experience working on complex team-based engagements in a consulting organization. 
  • Project Management Professional Certification.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of consulting methodologies such as change management and project management.
  • Ability to gather and analyze data effectively.
  • Ability to deliver in project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter.
  • Ability to be self-starter and proactive team leader.
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas for non-experts to comprehend.
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with project management tools.
  • Ability to work without sponsorship in the US indefinitely.
  • Ability to obtain a US security clearance if needed.

Desired

  • Strong culture builder and demonstrated team leader with desire to work across multiple projects and mentor/grow a team.
  • Experience participating in the development of at least one complex organizational design or new office stand-up effort.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder work groups within Medical Centers and health systems.
